Gabbar Singh

Directed by Harish Shankar , Gabbar Singh is a 2012 Telugu language action comedy drama starring Shruti Hassan & Pawan Kalyan. The movie is an adaptation of the Bollywood movie Dabbang. Venkatarathnam despises his half brother because of the fact that his step father always favours him despite his mistakes. The emotions of hatred in Venkatarathnam grow more and more towards his half brother and step father but then he goes on to become a police officer in their village of Kondaveedu and works towards weeding out the corrupt people. Venkatarathnam was always fascinated by the character of Gabbar from Sholay so he named himself that. Working for the better, Gabbar Singh comes in the eyes of goon and politician Siddhappa who with his power and politics piss Gabbar Singh off and their cat and mouse game begins.
