Gardish

Gardish, a 1993 movie, is directed by Priyadarshan. It is an action and drama movie starring Jackie Shroff and Dimple Kapadia in the leads. The film explores the life of a soon to be a policeman who gets to be worshipped as the crime lord when he steps into the crime world.  Shiva Sathe is going to be an inspector and no one is as proud as his father, constable Purshotam Sathe. While Shiva is achieving his father’s dream, he also gets engaged with Vidya Bhalla.  Later in the movie, Purshotam arrests the son of MLA, and as a result, he is transferred to the dangerous slum of Kala Chowk. To give the right lesson, Shiva beats up Billla Jilani and stands against him, which makes him the new don.  Towards the end of the movie, Shiva kills Billa and Purshotam declares that his son can never be an inspector after committing these crimes.
