Harjeeta

Harjeeta is a 2018 Indian Punjabi - language film that is written by Jagdeep Sidhu and directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. This is a biographical sports - drama film that stars Ammy Virk, Sawan Rupowali, Sameep Ranaut, and Pankaj Tripathi. The film is based on the real life of a field hockey player named Harjeet Singh. The film follows the life of a young boy who comes from a poor and dysfunctional family. He aspires to win the World Cup in field hockey and works towards his goal with dedication. Eventually, he becomes the captain of the Indian team in the Junior World Cup.
