Hook

As a follow-up to J. M. Barrie's 1911 novel Peter and Wendy, Hook is an American fantasy adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg, written by James V. Hart and Malia Scotch Marmo, and starring Robin Williams as Peter Peter Pan, Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook, Julia Roberts as Tinker Bell, Bob Hoskins as Mr. Smee, Maggie Smith as Granny Wendy, and Charlie Korsmo as Jack Banning. The story follows an adult Peter Pan who has forgotten his childhood and is now known as Peter Banning, a successful but career-focused lawyer with a wife (Wendy's granddaughter) and two youngsters. But when his former rival, Captain Hook, abducts his kids, he goes back to Neverland to rescue them. In the process, he gains back his memories of the past, matures as a person, and arranges a last showdown with Hook for the benefit of his family.
