In the Line of Fire

In The Line Of Fire, a 1993 movie, is directed by Wolfgang Petersen, streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. It is a political and action-thriller film, starring Clint Eastwood, John Malkovich, and Rene Russo. Agent Frank Horrigan is an undercover officer in a counterfeiting group at Marina, where the group’s leader Mendoza asks him to prove his loyalty, instead, Frank kills his men, identifies himself as an agent, and arrests him. Frank, played by Clint Eastwood, starts drinking excessively when he fails to save John F.Kennedy in Dallas in 1963. McCrawley, who calls himself "Booth", on the other hand, calls Horrigan as a part of a game and tells him about his plan to kill the President who is running for re-election. The movie grows with perfect pace and converts into a cat and mouse chase, laced with action and thriller. Initially, Clint Eastwood turned down his role in this movie in regards to the age difference, since he was 62 years old, and the character’s age was supposed to be 50.
