Indian Rupee is a 2011 Indian Malayalam film directed by Ranjith Balakrishnan. This is a drama film which follows the story of a young ambitious man, Jayaprakash. He wants to be a successful real estate businessman. However, he doesn’t care much about ethics. He wants money faster and in an impatient way. In his journey, he meets a widowed woman, Achutha Menon. Achutha changes Jayaprakash’s perspective about life and business. Towards the end we see Jayaprakash have a change of heart. He no longer resorts to the old tricks and games to fill his pockets. He decides to be a better person and earn money working hard.
