Kaaka Muttai

M. Manikandan directs a children's movie with J Vignesh and V Ramesh in the leads, playing two young boys, as Periya Kaaka Muttai and Chinna Kaaka Muttai, respectively. This Tamil movie also got remade and released in Marathi as Half Ticket. Manikandan has brought a quite riveting topic where two brothers belonging to the Slum areas are attracted towards pizza and desire to taste it at any cost. The journey from working hard, to finally taste it, welcomes trouble and tragedy as well. However, with this fascinating topic, Manikandan also explores discrimination for lower-class people or slum dwellers in this film, thus showing the humanity shown by certain high rankers. According to the critics, Kaaka Muttai is not only interesting but also lively throughout the film. It has been claimed as a must-watch movie and received positive reviews.
