Moule has written and directed this series which is a soaring love story. Ram Nishant plays the lead. He is popularly known for his appearances in Nenjamundu Odu Raja and Lock Up. Frederick Vijay has shot the series, known for his work on Kalluri Salai. The series' title might be a conscious doffing of the hat to a classic by the same name which was directed by Agathiyan and starred Ajith Kumar and Devayani. The classic had swept multiple national awards for screenplay and direction in 1996, remade successively into Telugu and Bengali. The music for the series has been done by Barath Veeraraghavan.
