Kaiyoppu

Kayyoppu is a 2015 Indian Malayalam film directed by Ranjith. This is a drama film which follows the story of Balachandran, an accountant who has a passion for literature and books. He shuns people and keeps them at bay. One day a publisher reads his work and is impressed. He asks Balachandran to finish up the novel so that he can publish it. Balachandran has trouble writing the book as he faces the writer’s block. Soon, Balachandran gets to know about a young muslim girl who needs money for her medical treatment. He gives it to her but doesn’t meet her. As the film progresses, an old flame in Balachandran’s life comes back and his life is again on track. He finishes the novel. However, in the end he arranges some money for the girl but meets a tragic end.
