Kalpana 2 follows the life of Raghava (Upendra) who has Nyctophobia and is in love with Nandhini. He is a cinematographer for a TV channel and wants to increase TRP ratings by shooting a fake haunted house. Unfortunately, his plan fails when he is haunted by not one but five ghosts. It is a remake of the Tamil film named Kanchana 2 and a sequel to the film Kalpana.
