Kesari (Saffron)

Kesari is a 2020 Indian-Marathi language film directed by Sujay Sunil Dahake. This drama film revolves around Balram, a young wrestler who wants to win the Maharashtra Kesari Title. He must face the odds to fulfill his wish. Balram aspires to be a wrestler but his father opposes the idea. However Balram’s grandfather was a wrestler in his own days and supports the youngster wholeheartedly. Balram in order to prove his father wrong, leaves his home and goes to Kolhapur. There he meets Ustad Mehman, a mechanic who used to be a mechanic. Ustad takes Balram under him and trains him. But will that be enough? Moreover even if he wins the title will he elevate himself in the eyes of his father?
