Ko

Directed by KV Anand, Ko is a 2011 Tamil language action drama starring Piaa Bajpai, Jiiva, Ajmal & Karthika. The movie was remade in 2013 in Bengali as Kanamachi. The film captures political nuances and the role of journalists in a country. Ashwin and Renuka are journalists in a local newspaper Dina Anjal and they believe in exposing the dark truth of politicians and wrong-doers. However, both fall in traps of politicians and suffer the repercussions of reporting the truth about naxals and politicians. They get fired and are metally tortured but they don't lose their ground and remain still on their morals.
