Kuler Achaar

Kuler Achar is a Bengali language drama film with a run-time of 2 hours and ten minutes, that talks about the idea of retaining your maiden surname after marriage.   

The film revolves around the character of Mithi, who wants to, and is willing to retain her maiden surname after marriage. However, with the mentality of the current Indian society, she finds it difficult, often getting snarls from her in-laws. Despite this, her husband, Pritam is very supportive towards her. It is now up to him to make his parents and his other family members understand.   

Directed by debut director Sudeep Das, and produced by Shri Venkatesh Films, the film stars Madhumita Sarkar, Indrani Haldar, Neel Mukherjee, and Bikram Chatterjee as lead characters.
