Lata Bhagwan Kare

Written and directed by Naveen Deshboina, Lata Bhagwan Kare is a 2020 Marathi language film starring Rekha Gaikwad, Bhagwan Kare & Radha Chavan. The movie is based on real life and the fact that all the reel characters are played by real people, who had experienced the events and were reliving them by enacting them into the film. Lata, a 65 year old woman is faced with existential issues. On one hand she is trying to make ends meet and on the other taking care of her sick husband. Lata gets hope when Gauri, a fellow labourer tells her about a marathon worth 50 thousand rupees. Lata trains day and night to win the prize for her husband's treatment.
