His life changes when he is tricked into buying a drug called Lucia by a mysterious stranger. Lucia is a drug that allows the user to lucid dream, meaning they can control their dreams.At first Nikki was skeptical of Lucia but he eventually decides to try it out. He takes the pill and falls into a deep sleep. When he wakes up, he finds himself in a dream world where he is a successful actor and is dating a beautiful model named Shwetha.Nikki initially enjoys his new life in the dream world, but he soon realises that it is not all that it seems. He starts to have nightmares and becomes increasingly confused about what is real and what is not. Meanwhile in the real world, Nikki's friends and family are worried about him because he has become withdrawn and erratic.Nikki eventually tries to quit taking Lucia, but he finds that he is addicted to the drug. He also realizes that the dream world is starting to merge with the real world, and he is no longer sure which one is real.In the end Nikki realises that he must accept his reality and learn to live with it. He breaks out of prison and returns to his old life, but he is now a changed man. He has learned to appreciate the little things in life and is no longer obsessed with his dreams.
