Madambi

Madambi is a 2008 Indian Malayalam film directed by B.Unnikrishnan. This is a drama film which follows the story of Gopalakrishna Pillai, a moneylender who has strict business rules and people consider him as a harsh businessman as he doesn’t care much about his own family. Pillai’s rival in the village is Sreedharan and his younger brothers. Apart from Sreedharan, Kavya Madhavan,a bank manager, also happens to be a rival of sorts. Gopalakrishna has his rivals measured but never gives them a chance to take them over. Gopalakrishna’s younger brother, Ramakrishna falls in love with a girl of the rival family. They marry, with the elder brother’s consent. However, the relationship of brothers takes a challenging turn when Ramakrishna leaves his house and goes to his in-laws. Will Gopalakrishna be brought down? Or Will everything fall in its place towards the end?
