Maryada Ramanna

Maryada Ramanna's plot follows a man who goes back to his native land, only to find out that people there have sworn a blood feud against him and tried to kill him at sight. This Telugu movie was released in the year 2010, falling under the genre of action and comedy, directed by S.S.Rajamouli with Sunil and Saloni Ashwini in the leads. Maryada Ramanna was inspired by Joseph Frank Keaton's silent comedy film "Our Hospitality" which came in the year 1923, and he was professionally known as Buster Keaton. This Telugu movie not only garnered positive reviews but also won the Nandi awards for different categories. The film came up with six remakes, one of them being "Son of Sardar'' Hindi remake starring Sanjay Datt, Ajay Devgan, and Sonakshi Sinha in the leads. Few critics came up with the climax being the only drawback for the Telugu movie with a cliched journey of emotions and love.
