Mayurakshi

Mayurakshi is the Best Bengali Feature film from the 65th National Film Award directed by Atanu Ghosh and produced by Probal Halder and Firdausal Hassan. The star cast of the film is Soumitra Chatterjee as Sushovan, Indrani Halder as Sahana, and Prosenjit Chatterjee as Aryanil. The film is about father-son relations with intense emotional tales. Sushovan is an 84-year-old who was left behind by his son. In his earlier days, he was a history professor. He is now suffering from cognitive dysfunction and neurological problems including dementia cognitive dysfunction. His middle-aged son Aryanil returns to visit him. His caretaker told him all he asked for was Mayurakshi.
