Mission: Impossible

Mission Impossible, a 1996 movie, is directed by Brian De Palma, streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. It is an American spy film, involving action and adventure, starring Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Emmanuelle Béart as Claire Phelps, and Jon Voight as Jim Phelps. Ethan Hunt is the only survivor when the latest Impossible Mission Force team gets eliminated by unknown assassins and supposed tech malfunctions. When he learns about the list, Golitsyn stole was a decoy, and the mission was a setup to learn about a mole within the IMF, he becomes the suspect. Therefore, Ethan escapes, using explosive chewing gum. Later Hunt and Clair, who also escapes the car bombing, decide to find the actual list in return for $10 million. Meanwhile, Hunt realizes Jim Phelps being the mole along with Golitsyn and Krieger but having doubts about Claire being involved. Ethan Hunt kills Krieger and Phelps, while Kittridge arrests Max, recovering the list, and reinstating Ethan back as an IMF agent. While Hunt is still thinking twice about joining the team, on the flight home, an attendant uses a code to make sure if Ethan accepts the next mission.
