My Neighbor Totoro

Satsuki and Mei move to a rural Japanese village to be close to their mother, as she recovers from a chronic illness. Their old home is swarming with house spirits, while more spirits dwell in the forests. The two sisters befriend these fantastic creatures and go on adventures beyond one's imagination. My Neighbor Totoro is a Japanese language fantasy animation film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki.
