Nalla
Nalla, a 2004 movie, is directed by V. Nagendra Prasad, streaming on Jio Cinema, MX Player, and YouTube. It is a Kannada romance-drama film, starring Sudeep as Prashanth "Pachhi" and Sangeetha as Preethi. The movie focuses on a love story where a guy working as a mechanic takes care of a mentally retarded woman who later sets out to find the man. This Kannada movie is roughly based on the 1982 Tamil movie, “Moondram Pirai”. Moondram Pirai was inspired by Charlie Chaplin’s 1931 American pre-code silent movie, “City Lights.”
