Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana

Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana is a 2005 Indian Telugu film directed by Prabhu Deva. This is a rom-com drama film which follows the story of Siri, a young beautiful girl, who meets Sriram, in a wedding. They soon fall in love, but have hindrances to their future. Sriram’s family, especially his mother, does not approve of their marriage as Siri belongs to a farmer’s family. Siri is insulted and returns to her village. Sriram goes to Siri’s village to win her back. However, Siri’s father offers a challenge. Sriram must grow a bag of rice to win Siri. But Sriram belonging to a rich class family does not know how to farm and isn’t used to a life of hardships. Will he complete the challenge? Or Will he fail? Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana is inspired from the 1989 Bollywood classic, ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’.
