Padosan

Padosan is a Hindi-language musical comedy film adapted from the Bengali short story titled 'Pasher Bari', written by Rajinder Krishan and directed by Jyoti Swaroop. Padosan revolves around Bhola, a simple-minded goof who moves into his aunt's home after a quarrel with his uncle. Over there, he encounters Bindu, his beautiful next-door neighbour. Bhola falls in love with her and desperately tries to win her affection by hook or crook. Realising that all other routes have failed to take him there, Bhola finally turns to music as his final resort to win Bindu's heart. The film stars Sunil Dutt, Saira Banu, Mehmood, Kishore Kumar and Om Prakash in lead roles.
