Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha is a 2009 Indian Malayalam language film directed by Ranjith. This is a mystery drama film which follows the story of a murder in the 1950’s which was closed due to lack of evidence and flawed investigation. However detective Haridas, pursues this case along with Sarayu, a crime analyst. After 52 years they track the leads, and the prospects. They gradually come to know that there was an involvement of a powerful landlord. Haridas does his best and gets to know that it was the landlord’s son who did the crime. A good crime mystery, which makes the audience curious and keeps them on the edge of their seat.
