Papanasam, directed by Jeethu Joseph is a 2013 Tamil language action crime thriller. The movie revolves around a murder and a father trying to save his family.Suyambulingam runs a cable service in a small town in the Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu and is married to Rani. They have two daughters, Selvi and Pulimeena aka Meena .Varun, the son of Inspector General Geetha Prabhakar is accidentally killed by the girls when he photographed a naked Salvi in the washroom. This causes chaos for the girls and for Suyambulingam. The whole journey now revolves around Suyambulingam trying to save his family from getting convicted.
