Pavada

Pavada, directed by G.Marthandan, was released in the year 2016 with the story of two alcoholics, who find their life on track yet again after they meet in rehabilitation. The plot involves an alcoholic, Pambu, who ruins his married life, and Pavada turns into one after he fails in his career. Pavada, receiving failure in his career as a producer, leads to alcoholism, resulting in rehabilitation. During an interview, the producer came up with actress Shobana, being initially approached for Prithviraj’s mother, but finally lands onto Asha Sharath. Shobana turned down this role as she was scared that it could affect her dancing career. This Malayalam blockbuster marks another victory to Prithviraj’s slate of accomplishments in the role of Pambu Joy, and Asha received a great deal of appreciation for her role, adding a loss to Shobana.
