Pranchiyettan & the Saint is a 2010 Indian Malayalam language film written, produced and directed by Ranjith. This is a comedy drama film which follows the story of Pranchiyettan, a successful businessman and his life. However he wasn’t like this from the beginning. Pranchiyettan used to be a small-time rice seller. However, his life changed when he started talking to an imaginary friend, St. Francis of Assisi. He expands his business to jewelry, real estate, and creates a better image of himself. The saint then helps him in taking various decisions about life and challenges of life . Pranchiyettan is a good light movie, with an entertaining premise.
