Puthan Panam

Puthan Panam is a 2017 Indian Malayalam - language film that is directed, co-produced and written by Ranjith. This is an action crime thriller film that stars Mammootty, Baiju, Mamukkoya, Hareesh Perumanna, Nirmal Palazhi and Swaraj Gramika. The main issues focused upon in the film are black money and demonetisation. The film follows the story of an underworld don named Nithyananda Shenoy from Kumbala near Kasaragod. The film follows a series of incidents that take place in his life due to demonetisation. He gets to know about the situation before it was suddenly announced and was betrayed by a cunning ex-minister.
