Ramante Edanthottam

Ranjith Shankar yet again comes forward with an experiment story where romance emerges between two personalities, which evolves into friendship through many obstacles. Ramante Edanthottam is a Malayalam romantic drama that was released in 2017 with Kunchacko Boban, Anu Sithara, and Joju George in the lead. The movie is marked as Kunchacko's best work till date. As the movie starts off, the first scene portrays the lead, Anu Sithara, as Malini to be a cheater who has been cheating on her husband, Elvis with Raman. Later in the movie, Elvis learns about Malini having an affair with Raman, a resort owner they met on a vacation. However, as the plot develops, the situation makes the audience review their own judgment. Sankar's attempt with this experiment forces the viewers to put up a question that if they should judge a woman wrongly when they were actually supposed to be unbiased. While the film takes us through the past events, we witness Malini and Raman on the verge of love, but they decide to respect each other's different perspectives towards life and continue the beautiful relationship of friendship.
