Rock On!!

Rock On!! Is a 2008 Indian Hindi - language film written and directed by Abhishek kapoor and produced by Farhan Akhtar. It is a musical drama film starring debutants Farhan Akhtar and Prachi Desai along with Purab kohli and Arjun Rampal. The film begins in Mumbai in 1998 following the story of a band named “Magik” consisting of four friends Aditya (lead singer), Joe (lead guitarist), Rob (keyboardist) and KD (drummer). The four lead a carefree and fun – filled life. They decided to enter into a music competition on Channel V. They won the competition and this is when problems started in their life. A lot of insecurities arise as Aditya is given the limelight. Joe hits Aditya and the director in a fit of Rage and flees. This results in losing the contract as well. 10 years later, they all are living their lives separately and none of them was happy. Aditya’s wife made all the attempts to make him happy. As she went to buy a gift for him, she met KD who overheard her talk about Aditya. This made her learn all about their band and she vowed to get them back together.
