Roja

Rishi Kumar is a cryptologist who works for the Indian government, and his wife Roja is a simple village girl. When Rishi is assigned to a sensitive mission in Kashmir, Roja accompanies him, hoping to explore the beauty of the place. However, their lives take a dramatic turn when Rishi is kidnapped by militants, who demand the release of their leader in exchange for Rishi's freedom. Desperate to save her husband, Roja goes to great lengths to secure his release, including pleading with government officials and negotiating with the militants. Throughout her ordeal, Roja develops a deep understanding of the conflict between the government and the militants and begins to question her own values and beliefs. Roja is a Tamil drama directed by Mani Ratnam, starring Arvind Swamy as Rishi Kumar and Madhoo as Roja.
