In the 2022 American horror film Room 203, starring Francesca Xuereb and Viktoria Vinyarska, directed by Ben Jagger, the two best friends Kim and Izzy discover that their new flat is haunted by violent spirits. The two have recently moved in together as roommates. The movie is based on the same-titled Japanese novel by Nanami Kamon, which was released by Kobunsha.They uncover a horrible background of disappearances, demonic rituals, and possessions that tormented every previous occupant of Room 203 as they look into the troubled history of the flat.
