Rooting for Roona

Rooting for Roona is a short documentary about a little girl named Roona Begum, born in Tripura with a swelled up head caused by hydrocephalus, a genetic birth defect. Her family fights to keep her alive and raise her against insurmountable odds. The documentary follows the journey of Roona, and her family, when she gets a chance of surgery after her photos go viral.
