Royalteen

Directed by Per-Olav Sørensen and Emilie Beck, the drama romance film follows the lives of prince Karl Johan, who goes by the name Kalle among his friends, and a newbie Lena, who eventually develop feelings for each other but know very well that they can’t act on them, as Kalle has to carry the weight of an entire nation and Lena has to carry the burden of her lies. Written by Ester Schartum-Hansen, the film is based on the eponymous young adult novel series written by Randi Fuglehaug and Anne Gunn Halvorsen.
