Rugged revolves around Shivu (Vinod Prabhakar) who comes to the city to make a living. However, in pursuit of earning good money and leading a comfortable life, Shivu follows the path of crime. With action at the front seat, romance also takes the back seat when Nandini (Chithra Reddy) enters Shivu’s life.
