Saatchya Aat Gharat

Saatchya Aat Gharat is a 2004 Indian-Marathi language film written and directed by Sanjay Surkar. This drama film is about a college girl who at a party, becomes a victim and is raped by a man, dressed up as a policeman. After the incident the girl gets broken, and everyone around her despises her. However, she decides that she’ll fight for justice and will make sure that the criminal will face his consequences. The film then follows her fight to redemption. Saatchya Aat Gharat, based on real incident, was aimed at raising an issue, and changing the audience's perception regarding victims of rape.
