Safe House

Directed by Daniel Espinosa and written by David Guggenheim, Safe House is an American action thriller film featuring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds. The movie centers on Matt Weston, a low-level CIA agent stationed in Cape Town, South Africa. He is in charge of a safe house where experienced operator Tobin Frost, who is being questioned by the agency for alleged betrayal, is being questioned. With Frost leading the way, Weston escapes as mercenaries raid the safe house. Weston is unsure of whom to believe as the group of murderers, who appear to be always one step ahead of them, pursues them across Cape Town. Robert Patrick, Nora Arnezeder, Sam Shepard, Brendan Gleeson, Vera Farmiga, and Rubén Blades co-star.
