Sajjan Singh Rangroot

Sajjan Singh Rangroot is a 2018 Indian Punjabi - language directed by Pankaj Batra. It is a biographical war drama film starring Diljit Dosanjh, Yograj Singh and Sunanda Sharma. The film is based on the true events of Sikh soldiers in the English army who fought on the front lines during World War I. The film follows the life of Sajjan Singh Rangroot who is a polo aficionado. He was also a British Indian Army officer and Maharaja of Ratlam State where he ruled from 1893-1947. During the war, Sajjan single - handedly took down Germans but in the process lost his own life.
