Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho is a 2004 Indian-Marathi language comedy drama film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.The film follows the story of Shrinivas Rane, a father who wants his son to score well for a better, brighter future. But his intentions for his son prove to be harmful, as push becomes shove and the son feels pressured. The father-son bond deteriorates and what happens next is a father’s nightmare. A good take on Indian education aspirations and the system itself. The film stands out as it addresses an important issue which is often left unspoken. The film has a number of comic scenes but in its entirety the film is a satire.
