Sujata

Sujata is a 1959 Hindi drama starring Sunil Dutt, Nutan, Sulochana, Lalita Pawar and others. Sujata is a Dalit or an untouchable woman. A Brahmin man is in love with her. One day Sujata's foster mother who is Brahmin, falls down the stairs. She needs blood and only Sujata's blood group matches. When Sujata's foster mother realizes that her life was saved because of Sujata, she finally accepts her as her daughter and gets her married to her Brahmin suitor.
