Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is an American computer-animated superhero film that serves as the seventh installment in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, which also acts as a reboot. The film, directed by Jeff Rowe and co-written by Rowe, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Dan Hernandez, and Benji Samit, boasts a star-studded voice cast that includes Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon, as well as Ayo Edebiri, John Cena, and Seth Rogen. The narrative follows the Turtles as they set out on a mission to investigate a strange crime syndicate, only to be confronted by an army of mutants unleashed on them. Family, acceptance, and belonging are major themes in the story, providing a fresh viewpoint on the Turtles' coming-of-age journey. "Mutant Mayhem" was co-produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Point Grey Pictures. Rowe will direct and Kyler Spears will co-direct the picture, which will be released in June 2020. Mikros Animation and Cinesite created the animation, pulling influence from teen coming-of-age films to emphasise the Turtles' youth. In June 2023, the picture was shown as a work-in-progress at the Annecy International Animation picture Festival, and it was later released by Paramount Pictures in August 2023. "Mutant Mayhem" received critical acclaim for its voice acting, narrative, and unusual animation style, earning $179 million worldwide. A sequel film is in the works, and a television series called "Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" will debut on Paramount+.
