Directed, produced and co-written by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Television is a Bangladeshi drama film released in the year 2012. The film stars Tisha, Chanchal Chowdhury, Mosharraf Karim and Kazi Shahir Huda Rumi. The storyline of this film represents a village leader who disallows a variety of modern day gadgets and technologies, however when his severe measures go excessively far, local people ascend in resistance. The film also delineates a semi triangle love story between Leader’s son, a village girl and their connected employee. The director of the film won an award of Jury Grand Prize at Asia Pacific Screen Awards in 2013.
