The Last of the Mohicans

The Last of the Mohicans is a 1992 American English - language film directed, produced and co-written by Michael Mann. It is an epic historical drama film starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Madeleine Stowe, Jodhi May, Russell Means, Wes Studi, Eric Schweig, and Steven Waddington. The story is basically based on a dying tribe called the Mohicans. Only two people are left from this tribe as well as one adopted white man. These three men are reluctant to enter the militia for Britain in 1757 as they want freedom. On their way to Kentucky, they stopped the Indians who were attacking a small regiment of British including the two daughters of an British Colonel. The three men take the survivors along with them to the fort while two love stories begin but the French and Indian war continues.
