Thoppil Joppan is a 2016 Indian Malayalam - language film that is directed by Johny Antony and written by Nishad Koya. This is a romantic comedy film that stars Mammootty, Mamta Mohandas, andrea JeremiahRenji Panicker and Harisree Ashokan. The film follows the life of a smuggler turned Kabbadi player named Thoppil Joppan. He lives in Thopramkudy. Later on, he gets obsessed with a beautiful girl named Annie. In order to marry her, he moves to make a fortune. However, by the time he returns home, she is already engaged to someone else. This breaks his heart and to drown his sorrows, he starts to drink excessively.
