Three of us

After Shailaja discovers her early-stage dementia, the regrets and hope of the past and future loom in front of her. Soon she is cruising across the Konkan coast with her husband, visiting her childhood home, relishing in the nostalgia of a time that will soon fade from her memory. Shailaja encounters her former love, confronts events that lay suppressed for very long and finally receives the tranquility to embrace what is left of life. Three of Us is a Hindi family-drama film produced by Allu Entertainment and Matchbox Shots, written by Avinash Arun who is also the director, Omkar Achyut Barve and Arpita Chatterjee. It's heartwarming and emotional core was conveyed by performances from the trio Shefali Shah, Jaideep Ahlawat and Swanand Kirkire alongside Kadambari Kadam and Neena Kulkarni. Three of Us premiered at the International Film Festival of India and later recieved 7 nominations, including Critics Best Film, Critics Best Actor and Critics Best Actress at the 69th Filmfare Awards. The film's soothing melancholia also resonated deeply with the audiences and critics alike.
