This Malayalam film received both positive and negative responses towards the characterization, bold scenes, and the plot. Trivandrum Lodge, which was released in 2012 by director V.K. Prakash, came up with this film with Jayasurya, Honey Rose, and Anoop Menon. Anoop Menon also came up with the story of this movie while combining all the elements of romance-drama and dark comedy to form into this genre. However, the critics gave negative responses to the changing sexual mores and bold experiment, it was also well received at the box office. Although the movie was praised for its detailed characters, who portrayed love, lust, and transformation, it was also criticized for crossing the limit of decency. This film depicts a residential lodge where people from different hardships of life stay peacefully, until one day a woman arrives to lead a sexually progressive life.
