Udaharanam Sujatha

Udaharanam Sujatha is a 2017 Indian Malayalam language film directed by Phantom Praveen. This is a drama film which follows the story of Sujatha, a widow, who works and strives to provide for her daughter, Athira’s education. However, Athira does not see herself having a bright future, and doesn’t study seriously. Sujatha tries to motivate her but fails. Athira does not realize the pain her mother takes for her education. To ignite a fire in her daughter, Sujatha takes a drastic decision. The mother joins Athira's school and does not tell of their relationship. Athira is furious and wants her gone from her school. Sujatha is welcomed and does good as a student. Athira and Sujatha then make a bet, if the daughter scores more than her mother, Sujatha leaves. Towards the end Athira works hard and her mother is proud of her and she helps other financially backward students achieve their dreams.
