Written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya, Uunchai is a Hindi drama film about three elderly men on a journey of self-discovery. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani, in lead roles as they attempt to trek the base camp of Mount Everest. Parineeti Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta and Sarika essay supporting roles. It has been shot by Manoj Kumar Khatoi, and the music has been given by Amit Trivedi.
