Where the Crawdads Sing

Based on Delia Owens' 2018 novel of the same name, Where the Crawdads Sing is an American mystery drama film directed by Olivia Newman. The film follows Kya, an abandoned yet defiant girl who raised herself in a North Carolina marshland to become a naturalist. But as the town's hotshot; whom she was involved with, is found dead, she becomes the prime suspect and is tried for murder. The film features performances from Daisy Edgar-Jones, Taylor John Smith, Harris Dickinson, Michael Hyatt, Sterling Macer Jr., Jojo Regina, Garret Dillahunt, Ahna O'Reilly, and David Strathairn.
