10 years of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani! Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kalki Koechlin come together for a much awaited reunion

The celebrations for 10 years of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani are still continuing, not just among the fans but among the whole team too. Yes, the YJHD team had a secret reunion, and the director, Ayan Mukerji, shared a few glimpses on his Instagram page. The four leading cast members of the film, including Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Kalki Koechlin, along with the rest of the team members like Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Kunaal Roy Kapur, and Sharan Sharma, among others, partied together.

In the photos, Ranbir sported a handsome look wearing a black shirt and trousers, while Deepika looked pretty in a black dress. Aditya donned a dashing look wearing a maroon shirt and black trousers, while Kalki opted for a cute look in a brown midi dress.

While captioning the post, Ayan wrote, "Last night".

We didn't know we needed this, but we did, indeed!

Earlier, Ayan shared a director's note on his Instagram story, which read, "The journey from a 21-year-old to a 30-year-old has shades of all kinds. As the rest of life will, undoubtedly. But there is something about one's first tryst with adulthood that is particularly powerful: a kind of rawness, a lack of lived experience, no way of truly knowing what lies at the end of the road one is walking on, a constant seeking in the dark for the moments where life is full of light."

The filmmaker added, "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a cocktail of all these encounters and obsessions. It is a story of the exhilarating and terrifying journey of four characters as they navigate through their youth, from their carefree laughter as they set off on a holiday together in their college days until their bittersweet tears as they watch the first of their bunch get married. It is an effort to somehow capture the spirit of their lives, wrestle with it, and give it to our audience in a bottle. So that it might make them feel happy, joyful, sad, and nostalgic. And like the characters in the film, it might make them seek out what it is in all of the above that truly gives our lives meaning."

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was released on May 31, 2013, and was among the highest-grossing films of that year.
